| The CHTC Medical Director, Dr. Carlos Puig is now with MHR (Medical Hair Restoration) in Houston. Dr. Puig specalizes in scalp reductions, which are great if you fancy the "hit-in-the-head-with-an-axe" look. Unforunately the vast majority of scalp reductions yield ZERO cosmetic benefits, while creating 10 to 12-inch scars on the top of your head. Dr. Puig gave me a hair transplant I was told would be "virtually undetectable". Instead, you can spot it as a transplant from a block away. He gave me an awful bowl-shaped hairline that isnt even symmetrical...it looks like the bowl started to slip. I was lowballed (deliberately misquoted a price), lied to, and cheated...Basically every dirty trick you can imagine. My transplant from Dr. Puig has not looked good "ever". I havent gotten a single day of benefit from it, only a nightmare of embarrassment and regret. |

After spending alot over $16,000 for hair transplant surgery over the past 10 years. I look like a circus freek. I dont and never did have any money, I saw their ads, testimonials,photos of "so called average examples" I bought into it also, so if it is of any consolation to you Im there to. I am at the point where I have to buy a "hair system"(wig)just to hide my scars. I would be perfectly happy to have it all to do over again , I would just shave my head,and tan it along with my whole body and be very content. I (at least have been told that by all of my family and friends ) have a very good looking head shape.Now I am stuck for the rest of my life with a "FRANKENSTEIN"LOOK ! "SCARSVILLE" I can remember back in the late 80s and early 90s I would save pennies, work extra (menial) jobs at night and . |

| Join the Club. Not the "Hair Club" but the SCAR CLUB. I felt very isolated "existing" (I no longer have a life) with my scars. The Internet is showing me that I am not alone and not the only one has been victimized. There are many men coping with these scars, victimized by this INDUSTRY. At the Davis Medical Group of Massachusetts, one of two doctors at that clinic who scarred me tried to make me think I was an exception....like there was something wrong with me. These are not doctors who seek to better people lives but profit-minded butchers. And they must be stopped! We must join together and in ONE voice tell all men that the consequences of a hair transplant are not worth the risk. Take Care Matroad |
